What do you like about blogging? Blogging is like a diary writing . I have learned on reflecting on my learning for each week which enables me to reflect back. Blogging is a new way for me to keep a diary online which will enable me to read my entries at any time and any where. What you do not like about blogging? The thing that I dislike about blogging is the font type and the font size that are given is limited and this causes difficulties sometimes when I want to enlarge and to vary my writing style. What have you gained from blogging e.g. Language skills, improved fluency, critical thinking, improved thought processes, technology skills etc. How? Frankly speaking, I learn much from blogging which are on how to improve my writing skills and to reflect on my weekly resources class. What do you like about this course? What I do like about this course is that there many internet and soft skills that I have learned in this course. Before this I did not know lots of things even I do not know how to download songs and videos.But with this course I have treasure many new skills.The one that I like is converting PDF files into word document using online converter and also converting videos to audio. What you do not like about this course? The course is very helpful and I do not have much to complain about it. What have you learnt from this course? I have learned to produce lots and varieties of teaching aids that have helped me to improve my lesson plans.The knowledge that I get in editing the resources from articles, songs and pictures has given me more ideas in making my lessons more interesting and appealing to the pupils. What have you learnt from this course that you did not expect to? The tutorials were something that I did not expect in the course however, I did learned a lot from the tutorials. What have you expected but do not learn from this course? Well I did not expect anything from this course as the course title itself reflects on what we are going to work throughout the whole semester. Comments regarding modules: Internet and computing skills a. What do you like about this module? Downloading videos and songs.I love downloading the softwares especially Youtube Flv Player. b. What do you not like about this module? There were some softwares that was unable to be used and it caused problems to me c. What do you like about the task given for this module? Downloading and converting files. d. What do you not like about the task given for this module? There were some online converters that was unable to be used and this has wasted my time and held me back for hours from moving on to the next tutorial. e. What are the specific skills that you learn in this module? Converting files and downloading songs and games. f. How the skills learnt in this module can help in the making and choosing of teaching aids for the ELT classroom? This course has taught me to edit teaching resources so that it will suit the pupils level and interest. Photo Editing a. What do you like about this module? Combining and editing a picture especially making a gif image .Especially using Photobucket, photoscape and Photoshop CS 3. b. What do you not like about this module? I love this module so much and do not have anything that I dislike. c. What do you like about the task given for this module? Making a Gif image. d. What do you not like about the task given for this module? I do not have anything that I dislike. e. What are the specific skills that you learn in this module? Editing and inserting text into a picture. f. How the skills learnt in this module can help in the making and choosing of teaching aids for the ELT classroom? Editing pictures. Audio Editing Skills a. What do you like about this module? I like the editing part of a song/audio. b. What do you not like about this module? I like this module.There are nothing that I do not like. c. What do you like about the task given for this module? Creating a ring tone and also editing the Siti Nurhaliza’s song.It was a trick as we have really apply the fade in and fade out and cutting the clapping sound from the song. d. What do you not like about the task given for this module? Nothing e. What are the specific skills that you learn in this module? Editing a audio by reducing its noise, cutting an editing , fade in and fade out and increase the volume. Frequency. f. How the skills learnt in this module can help in the making and choosing of teaching aids for the ELT classroom? Editing an audio to make it suitable for the children. By editing, teacher can cut the inappropriate lyrics and to make it suitable for the children. Video Editing Skills a. What do you like about this module? I like the part separating a video file from its audio. b. What do you not like about this module? Nothing. c. What do you like about the task given for this module? Creating a E-Book. d. What do you not like about the task given for this module? Nothing e. What are the specific skills that you learn in this module? Converting a video to an audio file and separating a video to an audio and a video file.Moreover, capturing the snaps from the videos. f. How the skills learnt in this module can help in the making and choosing of teaching aids for the ELT classroom? Capturing the screen shots in a video using the softwares helps me to capture appropriate pictures as teaching aids.Moreover, I can use the audio froma a video to be played to the pupils. Software for ELT a. What do you like about this module? Creating many teaching aids that could be exploited in the classroom. b. What do you not like about this module? Nothing c. What do you like about the task given for this module? Creating a company and designing flyers, poster, advertisement, website and so on to promote the company.This gave an new experience to me. d. What do you not like about the task given for this module? Nothing e. What are the specific skills that you learn in this module? Creating and designing own poster. Website and so on. f. How the skills learnt in this module can help in the making and choosing of teaching aids for the ELT classroom? Specific information in the teaching aids like poster, advertisement could be used as cues and guides for pupils to write. 10. If you can change anything about this course, state what is and elaborate? I hope that more freedom could be given to us to choose our own group members with out any rules or specification as there are some member who are sleeping members and this causew trouble to the other group members. Moreover, I hope that at the beginning of the course a list of projects and task that going to be worked on through out the semester could be given and how many marks that it contains so that the students will know what to expect and to concentrate in the course. Its like a alert of what is coming next. This will help the students to prepare . Lastly, this course is a very beneficial course and I have gained a lot of knowledge form this course.Thanks to Pn.foziah. On a scale of 1 – 10, please rate your computing and technological skills for both before and after undergoing the course. I would rate my computing and technological skills as 4-Before and 8-after.Well, I have learned a lot and moved a step higher in using the technological tools.Thanks to this course.

Reflection Week 14

We are now in week 14..the last week of class and that means It's the end!Yippy. Today';s class marks us that we are off to sit for exam soon.Well the test is going to be held in another one week. In today's class we had some disscussion on the things that we should prepare and focus on for the exam.

In today's class we saw a few video's by our friends and we commented on our friends presentation. We had lots of comments coming in on the messages that should be delivered in the video.We had our video commented and me and Nizam were very happy with that.

Well we still have our Module 4 and Module 5 tobe completed as soon as possible as Deepavali is just at the corner.Well as this is the last entry of the week.I would to thank everyone who have spent thie rtime reading my blog through out the past 14 weeks.With that "Thank You". Hope if i had said something wrong, i would like to apologise on my mistakes.

Reflection week 13

Welcome to week 13 and too add up to this is we only have 1 more week to go.In today's class, we are passed up task 2 and task 3 for Photo Editing and also pass up Module 2. In addition, i still have Module 4 which is still pending in my cupboard and also the tasks.

After the submission, Pn.Foziah had a look at the task that she assigned us last week.Coming up with a video. Me and my pair, Nizam showed her our video and Madam has given us some comments on how to improve our video.she have suggested on adding up the lyrics for the video so that those who see it could sing together with the video.

After editing for more then four hours , i was able to come with a better piece of video. Effort that was put is worth it., hope it will be the same with the marks awarded.


On tuesday, we were to summit our task 1 of Photo Editing. well, that's all for now. see you next week in the last entry.bye

Reflection Week 12

This is the 12 week of class and that means that we only have around 2 weeks more before the Semester comes to and end. Well, for today's class, Pn Foziah late , however she did not leave the class unattended as Miss.Kee entered the class.However, later one she entered the class.

In the class today, everyone was busy editing their E-Book.Then after Pn.Foziah entered the class, she distributed some additional tutorials for us to include in the second Module-The Photo Editing. She has reminded us that we will be having some more additional tutorials to be include in.

Then, Pn.Foziah shows us some examples of E-Book and has indicated the things that we should include in the E-Book. The elements that we have to focus on are characteristic, sound, plot, setting and the climax of the story. However, the E-Book that we have came about does not have a climax as we just focus on tecahing about Pets.

Pn.Foziah has seen our E-Book and give some suggestions to improve the E-Book.One of it is the sound effect that we could inserted in. Well that's all for now. Got to complete the E-Book now.Bye see you in anoather two entries.

Reflection Week 11

Today's class was a new experience to me.We have learnt a new thing about photo editing.Through out the class Pn.Foziah has shown us some examples of beautiful photos that was creatively edited by her friend. Well, it was a great experience to get to know how just by croping and adding in some effects, a wore out, blur picture could be an eye-catching one.

In addition, we were also given a task to edit a picture and to upload it Photobucket.It was an exciting job as i edited three pictures into one. To add on, one of it was my own picture.We were working on editing the pictures through out the class.However, during the class , there was black out and there were no electricity.I was shocked when suddenly my laptop shut off .The worse part was, i did not save my work and this incident has caused me to redo the editing. It was really frustrating.

The class hour was not enough for me to edit all my work.Therefore, i had to continue the editing work at home. Finally i managed to complete the editing work and managed to upload it to Photobucket.

This week we were assigned into groups of four and we have to come up with 8 teaching aids which comprises of gifs and edited pictures. It will be a wonderful experience i think.Ok then, i have get back to work .....see you in next week's entry.Good bye :)

Reflection Week 10

Its already week 10 and there are four weeks more to go for us to finish the semester.Talking about today's class...ehmmmm well Puan Foziah was so kind hearted to let us do our own work during the class.So that means it an oppurtunity to finish the left over work. To list down the work..i've to complete my research, print out the modules, prepare for two presentations.

Its a very fast train that i have to catch up with as there are only four weeks left. Besides, i have to make some preparations for the upcoming Deepavali Festival....;) ...ehmm i konw that its a about a month from now and i have to get prepared early .

Getting back to the topic....there some problems with the internet connection and i have to use a different computer. Well i would say that i have well utilised the time during the resources class.

Reflection Week 9

Hi everyone...welcome back. I bet everyone are still in Raya Mood. Well its time to move on and to complete the syllabus before we end this semester.Its just a few weeks left before we sit for the exam and BYE BYE Semester 7.......hehehe..well that it my trick in motivating myself to study.

Lets get back to bussiness now.This week Puan Foziah was unable to attend the class but that dos not mean that she did not left us without doing anything. We had to complete a new module. Puan Foziah had assigned Haikal to deliver us the Module 2 to be completed during this week.

I had really used the three hours and it was worth while as i had completed at least 12 tutorials. It was quit shocking when Haikal said that we have to complete this module by this week....Ehmmmmmm.....time constrain again!.Its Ok as i will manage it....
